SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

HOW TO ENTER

- Build a project with Twilio and present it during the event according to the Rules listed below.

- Submit your application by May 07, 2024 at 6:00 PM PST.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Applications will be evaluated based on various factors, including but not limited to creativity, technical complexity, innovation, and overall impact. Judges will review submissions and vote to determine the winners.

RULES

- Eligibility: Submissions are open to those who have built projects using Twilio products.

- Submission Limit: Each participant may submit only one project for consideration.

- Original Work: Projects submitted must be the original work of the participant.

- Compliance: Projects must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

- Deadline: All project submissions must be received by the specified deadline, as communicated in the event details.

- Presentation Length: Presentations during the meetup must adhere to the allotted time limit of 5 minutes.

- Respectful Conduct: Participants are expected to engage in respectful and professional conduct throughout the meetup.

- Judging: The decisions of the judges are final and binding in all matters related to the event.

- Prize Distribution: Prizes will be awarded as described in the event details. Winners must be present to claim their prizes.

- Code of Conduct: Participants must adhere to the event's code of conduct, promoting an inclusive and welcoming environment for all attendees.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

- Each person may submit one project, which will equal one entry.

- Each person must be onsite at the event to present their entry.

- Submissions will be presented in the order they are received via the Airtable submission form.

- Due to time constraints, we may be unable to showcase every submission - there will be a maximum of 6 demo slots available, presentations will be prioritized in order of the submissions received via the Airtable submission form.

- Submission end date: May 07, 2024 6:00 PM PST. No Purchase Necessary. Void Where Prohibited.

How do I submit my project?

Please submit your application by May 07. 2024 at 6:00 PM PST.

Is there onsite parking?

There is plenty of metered parking surrounding the GiHub offices. There is a small parking lot on Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, just passed our entrance, however the lot is only open from 8am - 12pm unless you are a monthly pass owner.

Can I still show up even if I don’t build something?

Of course! We’d love to meet you and who knows, maybe something you see will inspire your next build. :)

What if I build something and go, but then don’t want to present at the last minute? Is that allowed? Am I no longer eligible to win the prize?

You are always welcome to step back from presenting! However, the rules for the prize do require a build and presentation, and thus would not be eligible to win the prize.

I didn’t see this event until day-of and have a build I’d love to show off. I’ve missed the Submission deadline, but can I still present?

If there ends up being time, there is a possibility of you being able to present. However, the rules for the prize include submitting your build by the Submission deadline and thus would not be eligible to win the prize.
